Dr. Matthew Arthur
Memberships and Associations:
Dr. Matthew Arthur is originally from Upstate New York. He received his bachelor’s degree from State University of New York Oswego with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. He received his postgraduate degree from the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic in May of 2012, graduating Magna Cum laude. Upon completing his degree, Dr. Arthur moved to North Carolina and worked as an associate Doctor for 5 years prior to opening 919 Spine. Dr. Arthur combines the use of manipulation, numerous soft tissue techniques, rehabilitative exercises, and physio therapies to treat musculoskeletal conditions. He believes that maintaining function and integrity of the musculoskeletal system involves an evidenced based multisystem approach, which can help patients maintain a pain free and healthy lifestyle. Dr. Arthur has worked with many types of patients, from professional and amateur athletes to everyday individuals. Dr. Arthur enjoys helping anyone looking to improve their physical health in a proactive manner.
Dr. Arthur currently lives in Cary, NC with his wife Mary and dog Brie. He is a very active individual and comes from a competitive running background. After years of running he decided to switch gears and try Crossfit. He currently competes in local competitions, and has been very involved in the Crossfit community for the past 5 years. He likes to incorporate his knowledge of fitness and human movement into his practice.
Dr. Danielle Miller
Starting in September 2018
Dr. Miller completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Western Ontario in Canada, with an Honors Bachelor of Arts/Specialization in Kinesiology. She then obtained her Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from The Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in June of 2011. She since has acquired extensive experience working across Canada, Liberia, Uganda, Namibia, China, and Bermuda.
Dr. Miller's diversified approach has been honed by the varied range of ailments that she has been exposed to, and has experience in treating. She treats a wide variety of patients, including infants and children, the elderly, pregnant and postpartum women, and professional athletes. Her Pilates instruction and Crossfit background provide a well balanced approach to meet the individual needs of her patients.
Dr. Miller utilizes spinal and extremity adjusting, several soft tissue techniques including Active Release Therapy and Graston, contemporary medical acupuncture and dry needling, a variety of modalities including shockwave therapy, and athletic taping strategies. Dr. Miller has extensive experience working in a rehabilitative capacity to restore functional movement to individuals and athletes alike.
Kim is originally from Northeast Vermont. Upon moving to Fuquay-Varina NC in 2016, she received her Medical Administrative Assistant with EHR Certificate. In 2017, she started working as a office manager at 919 Spine in Cary NC. She then received her Chiropractic Assistant Certification. Kim finds working as a CA rewarding as she gets to see chiropractic treatment help patients without using drugs and major surgeries.
When she is not at work, she loves to travel, explore new places, go hiking, biking and most of all spend time with her husband, Ralph, and two dogs Emma and Zues.
Cathy Fowler is a North Carolina native, and has lived in the Raleigh area for over twenty years. She received her bachelor’s degree in Business and Masters in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Cathy has retired from her career as a CPA, and is now focusing on her four children, her Rodan + Fields skincare company, and on marketing Dr. Matt Arthur’s unique approach to excellent spinal and musculoskeletal health.
Cathy lives in Fuquay Varina, NC, with her children Liam, Hannah, Leo, and Sam. She enjoys walking for exercise, live music, and spending time with friends and family. Cathy is working on her first book, chronicling her journey with metastatic breast cancer.
